Fashion Illustration Anti-Christ: Achraf Amiri

October 30, 2010
You can’t say a blog is a fashion blog if you don’t mention Achraf Amiri: I’ve always loved fashion illustration, but I’ve always felt something was missing. This artist really says it all about fashion illustration (and fashion), he adds his personal opinion and very personal comment to each brand, each designer, each fashion statement: sarcasm and irony are his whoops.
He says all the truth, or better, his truth, in each pencil line. I love him.
I’ve been following him for quite some time now, I discovered him thanks to Marzio and Facebook, and today the interesting Superfluamente (omg she’s only 19 and she’s more interesting that many people around the fashionsphere) reminded me his existence.
To admire all his works, go on his blog on blogspot, he updates it very often with his lasts works of art!
I’m personally in love with the Vuitton one: I hate the fashion statement that the Vuitton’s speedy represent, and I truly believe the 80% of people that takes it around showing it off like they’re saying “hey, look at me, I spent 900€ for this bag, I’m rich and I’m trendy” are fakes.
